We work with all major implant systems including Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Osstem, Dentsply Sirona, Zimmer Biomet, and many others. Please clearly specify the implant brand, system, and platform size on your prescription form. We maintain a comprehensive implant analogue library for the most commonly used systems.
For a standard implant crown, please send: a closed-tray or open-tray impression with the implant impression coping in place, the opposing arch impression, bite registration, shade selection, and a prescription form specifying implant brand, system, platform diameter, and restoration type (screw or cement retained). For full-arch cases, additional records such as face-bow transfer, occlusal records, and photographs are required.
Screw-retained crowns attach directly to the implant or abutment via a screw, making them fully retrievable for maintenance or repair. They eliminate the risk of excess cement causing peri-implant inflammation. Cement-retained crowns are cemented onto a custom abutment and offer a more conventional crown-like appearance, making them ideal where screw access placement would compromise aesthetics.
Yes. Jalandhar Dental Lab fabricates custom CAD/CAM milled abutments in titanium, zirconia, and hybrid (titanium base + zirconia) configurations. Custom abutments allow for optimal emergence profile design, which is critical for healthy peri-implant tissue contours and natural aesthetics.
Every implant restoration is checked on the working model using the verified implant analogue. We verify the passive fit of the coping or framework, check the screw access channel alignment, and review the emergence profile and occlusal contacts. For multi-unit cases, we recommend a framework try-in appointment before final completion.
Implant crowns are available in: full-contour or layered zirconia (most popular), PFM on a cast or laser-sintered coping, IPS e.max lithium disilicate (for anterior single-unit aesthetics), and hybrid ceramic materials for full-arch prosthetics. The optimal material depends on the location, bite forces, and aesthetic requirements of the case.
