Frequently Asked Questions

Our cast partial frameworks are fabricated from Wiron 99 or equivalent cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr) alloy. Co-Cr is the industry standard for cast partial frameworks, offering high strength, rigidity, corrosion resistance, and excellent biocompatibility. It is nickel-free, making it suitable for the majority of patients.
Each cast partial is designed based on a surveyed study model. Surveying determines the path of insertion, abutment tooth undercuts available for retention, and the ideal placement of clasps, rests, and connectors. We design the framework digitally or on the study model to achieve maximum retention, support, and reciprocation while preserving abutment tooth health.
Yes. A metal framework try-in is strongly recommended before adding the denture teeth and acrylic base. This allows verification of fit, retention, occlusal rest seating, and path of insertion before the irreversible steps of tooth arrangement and base fabrication. Please indicate a framework try-in on the prescription.
Standard turnaround for a cast partial framework is 7–10 working days from receipt of the surveyed model. If a framework try-in is included, an additional 3–5 days is required for completion after the try-in models are returned. Full completion with teeth and base is typically 10–14 days total.
