Removable Partial Dentures

Removable Partial Dentures (RPD) from Jalandhar Dental Lab are designed to replace one or more missing teeth while preserving the remaining natural dentition. We fabricate both conventional acrylic―based and metal framework partial dentures.

Each RPD is custom designed to ensure optimal retention, support, and stability. Our technicians carefully design clasp assemblies and rest seats to distribute occlusal forces appropriately and minimize stress on abutment teeth.

Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer acrylic-based partial dentures (the most economical option), cast cobalt-chrome framework partials (more durable with better load distribution), and flexible thermoplastic (Valplast) partials (clasp-free aesthetic option). The best choice depends on the number of teeth missing, the bite forces involved, and the patient's aesthetic and budget requirements.
Clasp design is based on the Kennedy classification of the partially edentulous arch, the position and condition of abutment teeth, and the path of insertion. We survey the study model and design clasps to maximise retention and support while minimising stress on abutment teeth. If a specific clasp design is preferred, please indicate this on the prescription.
Please send accurate impressions of both arches, a bite registration, a completed prescription specifying the teeth to be replaced, denture tooth shade, and any preferences for clasp design. For cast framework partials, a surveyed study model is strongly recommended.
Yes. We offer repair and addition services for existing acrylic partial dentures. Please send the denture with a clear note specifying whether a tooth needs to be added, a clasp repaired, or the base cracked. Cast framework partials are generally not repairable in the same way; additions may require a new framework.
